2-3 large scallops per person
1/2 Tbsp or so of balsamic vinegar per scallop
3 Tbsp butter
Black pepper
Toasted sesame seeds
Scallions chopped small (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In a nice skillet (cast iron for me!), melt the butter on med-high heat.
Put in scallops and season top with black pepper. Cook 2 minutes and flip.
Season other side. Cook 2 more minutes
Flip scallops once more and add the balsamic. 2 minutes more.
Pull the scallops to serving plates.
Let the balsamic and butter reduce a bit more.
Then top the scallops with drizzle, some sesame seeds and scallion garnish.
