Cake:
2 sticks oleo
2 c. sugar
6 eggs
1- 12 oz package vanilla wafers, crushed
1/2 c. milk
1 c. pecans ( chopped)
1/2 c. Coconut, shredded

Frosting:
1 can evaporated milk
1 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
1/2 c. butter, real unsalted
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 1/2 c. coconut, shredded

Cake:
Preheat oven to 300 º. Cream oleo and sugar, add 6 eggs one @ a time blending well. Add wafers, 1/2 c. milk, pecans and coconut. Mix well and pout into 9 x 13" pan and bake 1 hour 15 minutes.Frost with frosting when warm. Let cool before serving.

Frosting:
Cook all except pecans and coconut over medium heat until thickened, about 12 minutes, stirring constantly. Add coconut and pecans and stir until thick enough to spread over warm cake.

Refrigerate uneaten cake.
