1 1/2 c. mazola oil (corn or all vegetable oil)
2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten well
3 cups apples, peeled and diced
1 c. nuts
1 c. raisins
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
preheat oven to 325 º. Cream together shortening, eggs and sugar. Toss all dry ingredients together then mix in apples and raisins and nuts. Combine wet and dry together and place in tube pan.
Bake about 1 hour. Let cool 10 minutes in pan then turn out and cool completely before dusting with powdered sugar or powdered sugar icing or serve warm with ice cream or cool whip.
