Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 c. ground cinnamon
1 c. applesauce
1/4 c. white school glue (like Elmers)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cinnamon, applesauce, and glue together.
Mixture should have the consistency of cookie dough. If it seems hard, add a little water. Knead dough for 5 to 10 minutes. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 30 - 45 minutes. Roll out dough between waxed paper until thickness is 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick.

I use cookie cutter in the form of a gingerbread man. Make a hole in the top so a wire or ribbon can be inserted for hanging later. Let dry on waxed paper for 3 to 5 days. Then decorate. These ornaments smell like cinnamon and can be reused year after year.
