2 beaten eggs
1/4 C bottled creamy Italian salad dressing
1 1/2 C soft bread crumbs (2 slices bread)
2 tsp. minced onion
1/2 tsp. basil, crushed
1/2 tsp. thyme, crushed
1/4 tsp. sage
1/4 tsp. Rosemary leaves, crushed
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 lbs ground beef
1 C shredded mozzarella cheese (4 oz pkg)
1/4 C flaked parsley
3 hard cooked eggs
3 T bottled creamy Italian salad dressing
1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
1/2 tsp. brown sugar

Directions:
In large bowl, combine 1st 11 ingredients. Add beef, mix well. In 11x7x2 inch baking dish, pat half of meat mixture to a 9x4 inch rectangle. Sprinkle half of cheese and all parsley to within 1 inch of all sides. Place hard cooked eggs end to end down center of rectangle. On foil or waxed paper, pat remaining meat to a 9x4 inch rectangle. Sprinkle remaining cheese to within 1 inch of all sides, pressing cheese into meat. Hold firmly, invert atop eggs. Remove foil or waxed paper. Shape to form a loaf about 10 inches long, sealing ends and sides well. Make diagonal cuts in top of loaf forming diamond shapes. Bake, uncovered, in 350º oven for 1 hour. Combine remaining salad dressing, mustard, and sugar. Brush mixture over loaf with pastry brush. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
