1/2 C. butter
3/4 C. brown or raw sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 C. mashed ripe bananas (2 large or 3 small)
1/4 C. yogurt
1 C. un sifted stone ground whole wheat flour
1/2 C. un sifted unbleached flour
1 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 350-degrees. Place butter and sugar in a bowl of food processor and process until light and creamy, stopping once or twice to scrape down bowl. With machine running, add egg through feed tube and blend. Add bananas and yogurt, turning machine on and off just long enough to blend.
Sift together whole wheat flour, unbleached flour, soda, and salt. Add to mixture in processor bowl. Turn machine and off 2-3 times or just long enough to mix batter.
Pour mixture into 9x5x9-in. loaf pan and bake 50-55 min. or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Do not over bake. Cool in pan 10 min. Remove from pan and finish cooling on rack.
