1/3 C FIRMLY PACKED BROWN SUGAR
1/2 C CHOPPED PECANS
1 PKG JELLO 5oz VANILLA PUDDING
3 C MILK*
1 ENVELOPE DREAM WHIP PREPARED
( * OR USE 2 PKG (3oz) PUDDING AND 31/2 C MILK)

HEAT BUTTER AND BROWN SUGAR WITH NUTS IN SAUCEPAN TILL MELTED. SPREAD IN BOTTOM OF PIE SHELL. BAKE AT 450º FOR 5 MIN. COOL
PREPARE PUDDING WITH MILK AS FOR PIE. COOL 5 MIN, STIRRING OCCASIONALLY. MEASURE 1 C; COVER WITH WAX PAPER AND CHILL THOROUGHLY. POUR REMAINDER IN PIE SHELL; CHILL. PREPARE DREAM WHIP. FOLD 1 1/3 C INTO THE 1 C CHILLED PIE FILLING. GARISH WITH REMAINING DREAM WHIP AND ADDITIONAL PECANS IF DESIRED.
