Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 11oz. bag of Kraft premium caramel bits
3-4 cold crisp apples, cored, quartered but not peeled
2 oz. lemon juice
3 C. cold water
small bag of chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Soak apples quarters in cold water and lemon juice for a couple of minutes. this prevents apples from turning brown. Place apple quarters, peel side up on a pretty plate

In microwave, slowly melt caramel bits, just until liquid enough to drizzle. Dipping a fork or cake tester into liquid caramel, drizzle it over the apple peel quarters until desired coating is achieved. While caramel is still hot, sprinkle chopped nuts (if desired) over each piece if apple. Caramel will stick nicely to apple peel.
NOTE: caramel placed on apple flesh will liquefy.

Variation: Serve with crumbled blue cheese or feta cheese. YUM!
