1st layer:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar

Topping:
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs lightly beaten
2 tsp. lemon rind
3 tbsp. lemon juice
Directions:
Directions:
Mix the first layer together and press in 8 " pan.
Bake 325º for 20 minutes or until golden.

Pour the topping on the base and bake 325º for 20 -25 minutes until nearly set. Cool in pan dust with icing sugar.
