1 c. butter
1/2 c. light corn syrup
2 c. brown sugar (packed)
1 tsp. salt
6 qt. popped corn (can use bags of puff corn)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in large heavy pan. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Stirring constantly until it boils. Boil with out stirring for 5 minutes. (Soft ball stage) Remove from heat. Stir in soda and vanilla. Gradually pour over popped corn (best to put in big greased roasting pan that has been in a warm oven with popped corn). Can add peanuts if desired. Bake 250º 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely, keep in airtight container.
