2 c. butter
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. blackberry jam
1 c. coconut
1 c. cooked raisins
2 ½ c. flour
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, add well beaten eggs. Add spices and milk. Mix in flour, jam, raisins, coconut, nuts and vanilla. Pour into three- 9 inch round pans and bake at 350* oven for 30 – 40 minutes. Cool
Filling:Mix 1 tbsp. flour, 1 ½ c. sugar together. Add 1 c. milk and add 2 well beaten eggs. Bring to a boil and cook until thick. Stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add 1 c. nuts, 1 c. cooked raisins, 1 c. coconut, 1 tsp. vanilla. Put between layers of cake and on top.
Icing: ½ c, butter,1 c. brown sugar, ¼ c.milk,1 bx. Powered sugar Directions: Add butter and brown sugar, boil 2 minutes. Add milk. Let come to a boil. Remove from head add about powdered sugar. Spread over cake. Let cool.
