8 to 10 ears fresh corn cut off cobb
1 stick butter
2 tbsp. sugar
¾ c. water
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Place butter in heavy skillet and melt until light brown, add corn, ¾ cup water, sugar, and cook on medium high heat until bubbly. Cook for 8 minutes stirring occasionally to keep from sticking. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Do not overcook.this will make the corn tough.
