1 bunch fresh broccoli, cut
½ tsp. pepper
1 qt. milk
1 c. flour
½ lb. Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 c. butter
½ tsp. salt
salt & pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cut florets from broccoli; place in saucepan and cover with water. Boil until just tender, drain and chill. In saucepan, place sliced broccoli stalks, covered with water and boil until done. Puree stalks and remaining water in blender. In saucepan, melt butter and stir in the flour, heat milk over low heat; pour into flour butter mixture, heat until getting thickened, stir in the broccoli florets and puree stalks, salt, pepper and then add the shredded cheese. Stirring so it won't stick.
