5 ½ – 6 cups flour
2 cups milk
2 pkg yeast
¼ tsp baking soda
1 tbsp sugar
½ cup cold water
2 tsp salt
Cornmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 3 cups of flour, yeast, sugar, soda and salt. Heat liquid ingredients until very warm. Add dry ingredients, beat well. Stir in enough flour to make a stiff batter. Divide into two greased loaf pans and sprinkle with cornmeal. Cover and let rise for 45 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove from pans immediately and cool.
