1 c. solid Crisco
1 qt. sweet milk
1 or 2 c. sugar
1 pkg. dry yeast
1tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
All purpose flour

Directions:
Directions:
In large pan add the milk, sugar and Crisco and slowly let it come
to a boil. Cool to room temp. (105* TO 110*). Sprinkle in yeast, salt, and baking
Power. Add enough flour to form good dough. Knead till
Workable. Place dough in large well oiled bowl, oil top of dough
And cover bowl. Let rise until double in size about 1 to 2 hours.
Then turn dough out and knead again. (I use small amounts of
Dough instead of all at once.) Roll dough out and cut with biscuit
Cutter. Place in a slightly greased pan or baking sheet. Brush rolls
With oil and cover with wax paper or clear wrap and let rise again
Until double in size...Bake at 350* 10 TO 12 MINUTES or until golden brown. Brush with
Melted butter...

Personal Notes: rolls can be refrigerated before last rising. Then
removed and allowed to rise as needed. They can be refrigerated
For up to 7 days.
