Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 bottles of decent Merlot
1 orange
1 lemon
1 lime
1-2 tbsp. sugar (add more to taste)
1/2 cup brandy
1/2 cup triple sec

Directions:
Directions:
Slice orange, lemon and lime 3/8" thick and add into large pitcher (over 1/2 a gallon). Add sugar and mash/muddle gently with wooden spoon until fruit releases some juice, but is not totally crushed, and sugar dissolves, about 1 minute. Add the brandy and Triple Sec and another quick muddle. Add the two bottles of Merlot and refrigerate 4 hours. The longer this Sangria sits before drinking the better it is – let it sit for a full day is best.

Before serving add 6-8 ice cubes and stir briskly to distribute settled fruit and pulp - serve immediately.

Have fun with recipe and make it your own! White wine plus apple and strawberry would be great!
