Directions:
Use a foil lined jelly roll (or updated version parchment paper). If using parchment paper no need to grease. Place 40 single soda crackers on the pan.

Boil gently to 3 minutes:
1 c. brown sugar (firmly packed)
1 cup butter

Pour this over the crackers and spread.

Bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes.

Melt over hot water (double boiler) 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate or desired
flavor. Ice immediately then sprinkle with nuts of choice.

Cut while warm.

I remember we were so excited about this recipe as it was so easy but yet delicious--still making it around Christmastime. Katherine wrote this recipe out on her Grandmother's note pad "Geri Barclay."
