Makes 60 1-inch balls

1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa
1/4 cup bourbon
2 tbsp light corn syrup
2 1/2 cups vanilla wafers
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
1/2 cup powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In medium bowl sift together 1 cup powdered sugar and cocoa. Whisk together until well blended: bourbon and corn syrup. Stir into the cocoa mixture. Crush vanilla wafers in a food processor. Mix wafers with pecans. Stir the pecan mixture into the cocoa mixture.

Roll into 1-inch balls between your palms (the balls do not have to be even). Roll in 1/2 cup powdered sugar. Store at room temperature between layers of wax or parchment paper in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.
