1 lb lump crab meat
1/2 minced onion
1/4 C minced celery
1/4 C minced green pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 T chopped parsley
1/2 C butter
2 C soft bread crumb, remove crusts
1/2 C heavy cream
2 eggs, beaten
1 hard cooked egg, chopped
1 T white wine vinegar
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 or 2 drops hot sauce
1 tsp. salt

Saute onion, celery, green pepper, garlic powder, and parsley in 6 tablespoons of butter for 10 minutes. Cool. Combine 1 cup of the bread crumbs, cream, beaten eggs, chopped cooked egg, vinegar, Worcestershire, thyme, hot sauce, and salt with cooled vegetables. Add crab meat and toss lightly to mix. Spoon into 12 scallop shells or individual baking dishes. Melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter and toss with remaining 1 cup bread crumbs. Place shells in shallow baking pan. Put 1/4 inch water in bottom of pan. Bake in 450º oven for 10 minutes or till browned and hot.
