Ingredients:
1 bag of dry black beans
1 1/2 onion
1/2 green pepper
2 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup white wine
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse the beans well. Place in pressure cooker with 1/2 onion 1/2 green pepper and 2 garlic cloves crushed. Fill pressure cooker with water to the half way point. When the steam begins to blow cover the steam and reduce heat to medium and cook for approximately 45 minutes. Once the pressure cooker cools down, open and check beans. If still hard continue cooking an additional 15 minutes. If soft to pinch with fork add a sliced onion, the olive oil, the salt and the wine. Cook on medium low until it thickens. When you achieve the desired thickness add the sugar.

Personal Notes:
If you want to get adventurous you can add cooked ham. You may want to add more salt to taste. But the sugar is the real secret to success.
