½ pound butter
5 cups sugar
1 can evaporated milk
1 cup peanut butter-crunchy
2 tsp vanilla

Boil sugar, butter and milk for 5 minutes after it comes to a rolling boil. Stir constantly. Pour over peanut butter and vanilla and beat until glossy-about 5 minutes. Put in buttered dish to cool-refrigerate. When cool and set, cut into squares and refrigerate until ready to serve.
