2 cup blueberries
Juice of 1/2 lemon
3/4 cup sugar
3 tbl sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 cup boiling water
1 cup sugar
1 cup sifted flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbl cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Line 8 x 12 inch pan with berries. Sprinkle lemon juice over fruit. Cream together 3/4 cup sugar and butter with electric beater. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add milk alternating with flour mixture to cream sugar and butter a little at a time to make batter. Pour batter over berries. Combine 1 cup sugar, corn starch and salt, sprinkle over batter. Pour boiling water over whole cake. Bake at 375 F for 60 minutes.
