1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg separated
2 cup flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
salt pinch
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp water
1/2 - 1 cup chopped nuts or sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugar, then egg yolk. Cream well. Sift dry ingredients. Add gradually to first mixture. Add vanilla. Place mixture on greased 15 x 10 in. baking sheet. Press into even layer with fingers. Mix egg white and water, brush on cookie, sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 300 F for 30 minutes. Cut into squares while warm.
