1 Bushel (about 43 cups) ground tomatoes
6 Onions
6 Green Peppers
2- 7oz. cans of Diced Green Chili Peppers
1- 3.5 oz. can of Jalapeno Peppers
6- 15oz. cans of Tomato Sauce
1 qt. Ketchup
1 ¼ c. Vinegar
2 tbsp. Garlic Salt
6 tbsp. Salt
9 tbsp. Sugar
1 tbsp. Celery Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients together and prepare for canner. It will make approximately 32 pints. Pressure cooker at 15 lbs. for 20 minutes, or cook in canner in boiling water for 45 minutes.

Aunt Karen and I made this recipe up, with the tomatoes from her garden. We looked at the ingredients on a bottle of salsa and guessed what we would need. Then we added and tasted and kept track of the amounts we used until it tasted right. We checked with a county agent and said it was ok. Our families loved it. If you like hotter salsa add more peppers to your taste.
