3/4 cup shortening
3/4 cup margarine
3 cups sugar
3 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp soda
3 eggs
3 tsp vanilla
12 oz sour cream
1 1/2 tsp salt
8 cups flour
Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, margarine, sugar, eggs & vanilla. Add sour cream & dry ingredients. Chill dough at least an hour before rolling out. To make a softer cookie, do not roll the dough too thin. Bake until bottom is light brown in moderate oven, about 325 for 10 min.
