"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Boil sugar and evaporated milk for 13 minutes exactly. Add chocolate chips and butter. Whip in a blender until smooth. Stir in marshmallows and nuts if desired. Pour into a well-greased 9x13 pan.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
You may need to wet the sides of the saucepan with a wet pastry brush while the sugar and milk are cooking. This will keep the sugar crystals off the sides of the pan. This small amount of water will not hurt the candy, and will need to be done 2-3 times.

This recipe was actually given to me by my daughter Tammy Cooper. I have used it ever since, and it is now called Grandma’s Fudge. I LOVE FUDGE!
