1 c. Butter
1 ¾ c. Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
4 Eggs
3 c. Flour
1 ½ tsp. Baking Powder
1- 20 oz. can Sweet Cherries (I like to use a can of raspberry or blueberry pie filling instead)

Glaze:
1 c. Powdered Sugar
1-2 tbsp. Milk
½ tsp. Almond Extract

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs 1 at a time, beat until fluffy. Mix in flour and baking soda. Spread 2/3 of batter into a greased and floured jelly roll pan. Spread cherries on top of batter. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining batter on top of the cherries. Bake at 350 degrees for 32 minutes. Mix powdered sugar, milk and almond extract together. Once the bars are cooled, drizzle the glaze over the top.
