CAKE:
1 box butter cake mix
1/2 cup sugar
5 eggs (room temp)
2 sticks butter (room temp)
1 2/3 cup self rising flour
1 cup milk

ICING:
4 2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
2 tsp vanilla
1 can evaporated milk
2 sticks butter (room temp)

Directions:
Preheat 350º

CAKE:
Mix butter & Sugar, add eggs until fluffy. Add flour, cake mix and enough milk so batter spreads thinly in pans. Use just enough batter to spread evenly on the bottom of well greased cake pans. Bake At 350º until edges get golden brown.

* Once first pans go in oven, start cooking icing*

ICING:
In heavy duty pot on med-high heat, mix sugar, cocoa & evaporated milk. Stir constantly with wisk until sugar and cocoa dissolved. Add butter & cook until it becomes rolling boil. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constanly and remove from heat, add vanilla, begin icing layers as they come from the oven.

Hint: You may have to reheat icing if it becomes too stiff.
