1 c brown sugar
3 T Flour
2 egg yolks
2 c milk
2 T butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 cooked deep dish pie shell cooked

2 egg whites
4 T sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Oven 350
In double boiler combine flour and sugar. Beat egg yolks and milk together add to flour mixture. Cook until thick, remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Pour into cooked shell.
Meringue: Whip egg whites until stiff peaks form add sugar a bit at a time, spread on pie filling sealing to edge of crust. Bake 10 minutes until golden brown.
