1 1/2 c cooked white rice
1 c milk
2 slightly beaten eggs
1/3 c white sugar
1 T butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 c dried fruit - raisins, currets, chopped dates, sweetened dried cranberries or sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Over double boiler cook milk, egg and sugar until mixture coats a metal spoon, add rice and heat. Remove from heat add remaining ingredients. Pour into serving dish and allow to stand without stirring for 30 minutes. Serve warm.
