Serves 8-10

2 lbs carrots
1 lg onion - sliced in thin rings
1 lg green pepper - cut in thin strips
1 can tomato soup (10 1/2 oz), undiluted
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup salad oil
3/4 cup vinegar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and scrape carrots. Cut into diagonal slices about 1" long. Cook in boiling salted water till tender. Drain and cool. Combine carrots with onion rings and green pepper strips in large bowl.

Combine soup, sugar, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper in saucepan. Bring to boiling and stir to dissolve sugar.

Pour hot mixture over vegetables. Cool. Cover and chill in refrigerator over night.
