Makes 5 to 6 dozen small cookies

1/2 cup butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp almond extract
1 2/3 cups sifted flour
Cookie decoration
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter with salt. Add sugar; cream well. Blend in egg, vanilla and almond extracts. Add flour gradually; mix well.

Press a small amount of dough through a cookie press onto ungreased cookie sheets, using any plate to make desired shape.

Bake at 400º for 8 to 10 minutes until delicately browned. Decorate with cookie decorations.
