1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
3.5-oz package sliced pepperoni (Mollye uses turkey pepperoni)
15.5-oz. jar spaghetti sauce (Mollye uses Hunt's in a can with added spices)
1/2 cup each of three short-cut pastas (such as rigatoni, macaroni, rotini, etc.), cooked, drained, and tossed together
8-oz carton cottage cheese (Mollye uses fat-free)
10-oz. package mozzarella cheese, grated

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Cook ground beef, onion and bell pepper until beef is no longer pink and onion is translucent.
Add pepperoni and cook just long enough to heat thoroughly.
Drain mixture and add spaghetti sauce; simmer approximately 5 minutes.
Pour half the cooked pasta into a lightly greased 3-qt. casserole dish. Spoon on half of the meat-sauce mixture.
Spoon all of the cottage cheese over the sauce.
Sprinkle half of the mozzarella over the cottage cheese.
Repeat layers, omitting the cottage cheese and end with the mozzarella.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.

*Mollye uses store brands or whatever is on sale. This recipe can be made ahead of time and baked when ready to eat.
