2 lbs. Beef Stew Meat
2 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Pepper
1 tsp. Paprika
1/4 c. Flour
2 Tbls. Cooking Oil
2 Cloves Minced Garlic
2 Tbls. Worcestershire
1 c. Sliced Onion
1 c. Chopped Celery
1 c. Chopped Carrots
1-2 c. Stock or water
Cornstarch (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Coat meat with mixture of paprika, flour salt and pepper. Combine with vegetables and Worcestershire sauce. Place in greased pan with cooking oil and bake for 1 -1 1/2 hours in a 350º oven. Add just enough liquid stock or water to cover mixture. Cover casserole and simmer in a 300º oven for 3 hours or until tender. Then if necessary thicken with cornstarch. Serve with mashed potatoes. Use a beef bouillon in the water to make stock.
