4 c flour
1 3/4 c Crisco shortening
2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp sugar
1 egg
1 Tbsp vinegar
1/2 c water

Directions:
Directions:
1 Blend together the flour, shortening, salt, and sugar.
2 In separate bowl beat together the egg, vinegar, and water.
3 Pour egg mixture into the flour mixture and stir with a fork until dough ball forms. Put into covered bowl and chill in fridge. Use as needed.

This recipe was given to my Mom when they lived on the Naval Base in Nevada by Emma Moore. My mom insists that you cannot fail to make a good crust with this recipe. Which is true I guess since my crusts are always good it's the innards of the pie that have issues...LOL...
