1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup corn starch

Glaze

1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
1-2 tablespoons milk
2-3 drops red food coloring
crushed hard peppermint candy

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, powder sugar and peppermint extract.
Beat at medium speed till creamy
on low speed. Add flour and cornstarch.
Beat till well mixed.
Refrigerate 30-60 minutes.

Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 12-15 minutes or till edges are lightly browned.
Let stand I minute.
Remove from cookie sheet and cool.
Drizzle glaze over and serve.
