Apples
2 T sugar
2 T water

For cake mixture:
1/2 c flour
1/4 c sugar
1/4 c margarine
1 egg beaten with 2 T milk

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350º.

Cream the sugar and margarine in a warm basin (not hot). Then stir in flour and beaten egg/milk mixture, alternating, a little at a time. Mix thoroughly. Mixture should be soft.

Slice sufficient apples to fill three quarters of a pie dish. Add 2 T sugar and 2 T water. Stew for a short time then cover mixture with cake mixture.

Bake for about 40 minutes.

Can also use other fruit such as rhubarb, raspberries, plums, etc.
