1/2 c flour
1/4 sugar
1/4 margarine
1 egg beaten with 2 T milk
2 T currants

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 425º.

Cream the sugar and margarine in a warm basin (not hot). Mix currants into the flour. Then stir in flour and beaten egg/milk mixture, alternating, a little at a time. Mix thoroughly. Mixture should be soft.

Pour into well greased muffin pan or into 12 paper cups filling each up half way.

Bake about 15 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
