1 1/2 gallon chokecherries
(cover with water and boil 1/2 hour and put through colander.)

15 lbs rhubarb
(do not wash, put through food grinder)

6 gallons water
20 lbs sugar

1. End of 4 days, take out pulp
2. End of 30 days, put through sieve and bottle with cotton
3. After 30 more days, put through sieve, bottle with wax paper and cork
