3 lbs squash, washed and cut up
½ c. onion, chopped
½ stick butter
1 Tbsp. sugar
1tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
1 egg
½ c. cheese, shredded
½ c. cracker crumbs, crushed fine

Directions:
Directions:
Boil squash until tender, drain well. Saute onion in butter. Add squash, onion, sugar, salt, pepper and egg together. Place in 13x9 casserole dish. Bake at 350 º for 40 minutes.
Remove from oven and top with cheese and cracker crumbs. Return to oven and bake until cheese is melted.
