About 3 lbs. small okra pods
6 garlic cloves
6 small hot peppers
6 tsp. dill seed
6 tsp. sugar
1 quart vinegar
1 cup water
½ c. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Select okra pods 2 or 3 inches long,
uniform in size. Wash and trim,
leaving tiny portion of stem on. Packvertically in pint jars. Place 1 garlicclove,1 hot pepper. 1 tsp. dill seed, and 1 tsp. sugar in each pint. Combine vinegar, water, and salt in saucepan, and bring to boil. Pour hot liquid over okra, filling to within 1/2 inch of top of jar. Seal and process 5 minutes in boiling water bath. Store for 2 weeks before using.
