1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
8 qt. popped popcorn
peanuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

Have popped corn ready in a large mixing bowl.

Melt butter; stir in sugar, corn syrup, salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, then boil without stirring for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in baking soda and vanilla. Gradually pour over corn and mix well. Turn out onto two large shallow baking pans. Bake for 1 hour stirring every every 15 minutes.

Remove from oven, cool completely. Break apart, store in airtight containers.
