2 Tbsp butter or marg
2 Tbsp flour or cornstarch
1 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
1 cup apple cider
dash of nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, add cornstarch. Gradually add the cider, then sugar. Bring to a boil and cook till smooth. Remove from heat and add nutmeg. Serve warm over applesauce cake or spice cake.
