1. One loaf bread (soft whole wheat works well)
2. 6 eggs (I usually use 3 eggs and egg beaters combined )
3. 1 tsp. dry mustard
4. 1 tsp. onion powder
5. 1 tsp. white pepper
6. 2 1/2 cups milk (1 or 2 %)
7. 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
8. 2/3 cup grated Swiss cheese
9. 1 cup cup chopped ham (you may use Canadian bacon if you prefer)
10. 1 stick margarine, melted
11. 2 cups cornflake crumbs (i use Kelloggs, found in the baking aisle in the market or you can grind your own)

Put 6 slices bread in a buttered (or spray with PAM) 9 x 13 inch glass pan. Mix the cheeses and ham together. Spread over the bread in the pan. Place another layer of six slices bread on top. Whisk together eggs, milk and spices, blending thoroughly. carefully poi over the layered bread and cover with foil. Refrigerate over night. Next morning, remove pan from fridge and let sit out for about 30 minutes at room temperature. Preheat over to 350 degrees. Melt margarine in a saucepan, add cornflake crumbs, blend well. Spread over the top of bread and bake uncovered for 45 minutes on middle rack in oven.
