3/4 cup sugar
1/4 c corn syrup
2 tbsp water
2 egg whites
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Cook over rapidly boiling water in double boiler beating with electric mixer until mixture stands in peaks. Remove from heat. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Continue beating until thick enough to spread.
