Ingredients: 4 squares of un-sweetened choc (Bakers) if available
2 sticks of salted butter
1 cup all purpose flour
2 cups sugar
5 large eggs
1/4 cup high quality vanilla extract
large bag 12-16 oz size of 60% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate Chips (Ghirardelli)
1 bag Toffee Pc. chopped already
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions: |
Directions:Melt chocolate squares and butter over very low heat until melted. Mix sugar, eggs until smooth. Hand mix, no mixer! Add vanilla and flour then hand mix until smooth. Add hot chocolate mixture and stir until smooth. Add chips, toffee, nuts and mix. Line bottom of brownie pan with parchment paper. Pour ingredients into pan. Drop pan on counter several times from short distance to insure that air pockets are removed. Bake in 325 degree oven for 25 minutes. Watch until brownies do not wiggle when you move pan up and down in oven. Quickly remove and immediate refrigerate 24 hours. Secret is in quick removal from oven and quick cooling. Remove and slice. Put powdered sugar on top and use cupcake paper to provide individual slices. |
