1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2/3 cup raisins, soaked in hot water
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Gently boil syrup & brown sugar, stirring to blend - 3 min. Remove from heat - cool 5 min. Add in butter. In a separate bowl beat eggs lightly. Pour batter mixture over the eggs, stirring constantly. Drain the raisins and blend them into the mixture, Add vanilla, nutmeg and salt. Have 24 tart shells ready in muffin tins (you can use great great grandma's pastry recipe). Pour mixture into the shells. Bake at 400º for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350º for an additional 12 minutes until pastry is golden brown. Do not over bake.
