Topping:
6 cups water
2 cups brown sugar
1 stick butter
Bottom:
2 Tblsp. butter
1 cup sugar
1 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp Baking powder and soda
2 cups flour
1 cup raisins,and nuts
1 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Topping; Blend first 3 ingredients together in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Let simmer.
Bottom; Mix the bottom ingredients together- pour in a deep dish.
Carefully pour the liquid topping over all.

Bake at 350º for 45 minutes.
Serve warm with ice cream or whipping cream.
