1 lb of ground beef
16 oz Colby jack cheese
3 medium size tomatoes
1 large head of lettuce
1 can medium size of olives
1 small onion- optional
1 tsp grd. oregano
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 can kidney beans
1 lrge bottle Catalina dressing
1 bag of round tortilla chips

Directions:

Brown meant and season with oregano, chili powder and garlic powder. Drain and cool. while meat is cooling shred cheese, cut lettuce however you like it, dice only 2 of the 3 tomatoes. Drain water from kidney beans and olives. If using onion - dice. When meat has cooled, put it in a large mixing type bowl. Then add tall of your chopped and or cut ingredients. mix well. Then add kidney beans and 1/2 to 3/4 of olives. put the rest of the olives aside for garnish. Decide how many tortilla chips you would like and crunch them up and add to salad. mix salad again. Pour dressing into salad and mix again. Even out the salad so it is flat on top. Put leftover tortilla chips on top side by side (not on top of each other) around on salad. Slice last tomato and place on top of chips. put remaining olives in on top of tomatoes.
