4 T. butter,
2 or 3 celery stalks, chopped,
1/2 medium onion, chopped,
1 garlic clove, chopped
Grated zest of 1 lemon
1/4 C. chopped parsley
1/2 t. crushed dried thyme
1/4 t. crushed dried marjoram
1/4 t. crushed dried sage
3 1/2 C. soft bread crumbs
3/4 C. melted butter
Salt and freshly ground pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and add celery, onion, and garlic and saute until onion is translucent and soft. Celery should be somewhat crunchy. Add lemon zest, parsley and seasonings and saute a minute or two longer.

In a mixing bowl combine the bread, melted butter and seasoning mixture and mix well. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Makes about five cups.

This is an old recipe that mom had in her repertoire. I believe this is a stuffing meant to into the turkey cavity.
